ONE HIT, ONE SH!T: Raw (16-Oct-17)

Hello and welcome, one and all.

Because I insist on gobbing off on a weekly basis and since WWE are adamant on having 9999 hours of wrestling per week (Raw being 95% of that), my usual shower of bazooka rounds has been replaced with a rather nifty sniper rifle that I’ll be using to highlight the strongest and weakest parts of the show……….or at least just my personal favourite and worst moments.

Unfurl the sails and hoist the anchor as blunt, yet constructive criticism is surely on the horizon!

It’s…….

The number of factions/stables/alliances we have at the moment seems to be increasing by the week and I ‘sbloody love it!

One’s to assume that The Shield’s rebirth has been the catalyst for this recent movement and we’re possibly going to see a longer run than I initially anticipated since WWE are going through the trouble of setting up all of these groups to be run over/through by Roman & Pals.

The Titus Brand/Titus Worldwide seems to be growing again.

We’ve also got some form of an alliance between Elias and The Good Brothers going on too, which was very entertaining.

I know this whole five/six/seven-piece deal ends on Sunday and The Mizterons will revert back to Miz, Axel and Dallas, but this is one hell of a force to be reckoned with as it stood at the start of the night.

Making matters worse, Kane emerged from beneath the ring during the main event and assisted Braun Strowman in absolutely ruining Roman Reigns.  The Big Red Machine was then confirmed to be the fifth and final member of The Mizterons come Sunday’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs main event.

Strowman’s really got the hang of #NipsOutForVince now!

Shit logic worries me a bit this week.  It’s scary what gets by people that are paid to do a job.

Kurt Angle added a stipulation to the #SteelCage main event tonight.  If Roman Reigns won, the TLC match would revert back to the original three-on-three contest; however, if Braun Strowman won, his team gained an additional member, further stacking the odds against The Shield.

At first glance, this appears to be a pretty cool scenario, take a step back though and you realise none of it matters anyway because TLC Matches are no disqualification type matches…….soooooooo The Miz and his Mizterons could be even greater in number on the night, should they wish so……DUUUH!

Including The Mizteron’s original cast, there are potentially at least seven people on the heel’s side of the brawl (Miz, Axel, Dallas, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun & Kane), all I’m saying is that anyone and everyone could work this out and it’s a pretty obvious element of the story that was completely ignored.

Ahhhhhh, creative was obviously too busy writing the swerve that made us think Curtis Axel was going to be the fifth man.

Away with you, vermin!

The rest of Raw saw me following suit and playing silly buggers along with Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor.

Finn appeared and did some shite looking morphing effect up on the Titantron whilst stood in the ring.  I imagine it looked even dafter to someone in the crowd watching live and in person.

I’m still going to give it a chance since I’ve mentioned before their potential for a fantastic theatrical showdown, it’s just a shame I’ve also stated the WWE creative team have made it obvious to me that they’ve avoided any/all (stage) theatres like the plague and have spent most of their lives hiding from any other form of entertainment that doesn’t involve bad writing and a TV screen!
